Police Returns iPhone Found

Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur--- PO1 Noli Balulao y Ansing , a PNP member of Regional Public Safety Battalion situated at Balintawak, Pagadian City  and a resident of Alegria, Pagadian City personally turned-over to Pagadian City Police Station, City Hall Complex, Gatas Dist., Pagadian City at about 7:00 AM of October 25, 2014 One (1) Unit iPhone 5 Cellphone that he had found at the National Highway of Barangay Bogo, Pagadian City when he was driving his single motorcycle and on his way to work at RPSB, Balintawak . PO1 Balulao believed that the cellphone might have fallen unnoticed by the owner.

The owner who was later identified as Ilyn Andale, a resident of Kagawasan Village, Pagadian City, who came to this station and about to report the loss of her cellphone, was delighted upon hearing that her cellphone was turned-over by PO1 Balulao to PO2 Danny O. Banlaygas, Duty Investigator as witnessed by Mr. Jerson Galotera, Media Representative.The owner then claimed the unit happily after showing her proof of identifications and ownership.(dmrl)

Suspect of Illegal Drug Trade Nabbed in a Buy-bust Operation



Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur - Another suspect of illegal drug trade in the City was arrested by the Joint Elements of PDEA and Intelligence Operative of this station led by Police Inspector Avelmar Renan U. Garambas, Assistant Intelligence Officer and the Duty Officer of the Day under the direct supervision of PSupt Glenn Macario Dulawan, Officer-in-Charge during the illegal drug buy-bust operations on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at around 11:00 O'clock in the evening at Purok Silao, Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City. 

The suspect identified as one JUNE DAVID BURGOS y LADOR, aka “TATA”, 23 years old, male, single, jobless, a resident of Purok Silao, Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian City was arrested  after he sold one (1) sachet of shabu to the PNP operative who posted as Poseur-Buyer of illegal drugs in exchange of  Three Hundred Pesos (P300.00). 

Following his arrest, the team were able to confiscate from the suspect's possession the following items: Four (4) pieces of small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu; Three (3) pieces aluminum foils; Three (3) pieces One Hundred Peso Bills (Php 100.00) with corresponding serial numbers ZZ293058; CE977119 & BX036272 marked money; and, One (1) piece disposable mint green lighter.

Cases for violation of RA 9165 Sections 5 and 11 are already filed at the prosecutors office while the suspect is temporary detained at the custodial cell of Pagadian City Police Station awaiting court disposition.

Wanted Person for Rape Arrested

           


Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur - PNP Personnel of Pagadian City Police Station led by PSupt Glenn M Dulawan together with PInsp Avelmar Renan U Garambas, PInsp Harry R Velez, SPO2 Carlos D Omentic, SPO1 Joselito B Flores, PO3 Marrieson S Ganta, PO1 Helsin B Abil, PO2 Bonifacio A Petalcorin Jr., PO1 Mark Andrew S Yamba and PO2 Danilyn R. Limbo, conducted to this office one BARTOLOME ALOZO Y LASTIMADO who was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest with Criminal Case number 11650-2k14 for the crime of “RAPE” under Art 266-A, Par 1 of the Revised Penal Code issued by the RTC 9th Judicial Region Branch 22, Pagadian City issued on August 14, 2014 at Pagadian City signed by Hon. Benjamin R. Lanzaderas, Presiding Judge.

It was disclosed that the suspect was under surveillance for a week. Furthermore, the Arresting Officers paid Confidential Informant (CI) to locate the whereabouts of the said suspect. That at about 9:40 in the evening of October 15, 2014 PSupt Glenn M Dulawan received a phone call from the Confidential Informant informing that the suspect was seen at Bana St., Sta Maria Dist., Pagadian City. Upon receipt of the information they immediately to effect the arrest. While thereat the suspect was about to leave the place when he was confronted by PInsp Garambas, PInsp Velez, SPO2 Omentic and SPO1 Flores while the others positioned themselves more or less ten (10) meters from them. Thereafter, SPO2 Omentic and SPO1 Flores put the suspect into arrest but the suspect refused to go along with, instead, suspect tried to escape and run away but PO3 Ganta, PO1 Abil, PO2 Petalcorin, PO1 Yamba and PO2 Limbo immediately chased the suspect and was successfully arrested and thereafter informed of his basic rights afforded by the constitution and subsequently brought him to Pagadian City Police Station. The suspect is now temporarily detained at the lock-up cell of this Station while waiting for Court disposition. (DRL)
