Drug Suspect Arrested in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY,  Zamboanga del Sur (July 14, 2018) - The PNP elements of Lakewood Municipal Police Station (MPS) in coordination to Pagadian City Police Station arrested one illegal drug personality during the conduct of  manhunt operation at Barangay San Jose, Pagadian City at about 1:00pm of July 19, 2018.

Police identified the arrested person as Juram Limo Y Risada, 38 years old, male, married, janitor worker and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Baking, Lakewood, Zamboanga Del Sur

He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Homicide, docketed under Criminal Case No.11803-2K14 issued by Hon. Dennis P. Vicoy, Presiding judge of RTC Branch 20, Pagadian City dated March 9, 2017 with bail bond recommended of forty thousand pesos (Php40, 000.00).

The arrested wanted person is now under the custody of Lakewood MPS for proper disposition. (By JONG CADION)

Dead Body Found in Pagadian

PAGADIAN CITY (July 19, 2018) – A dead body was found at Purok Makiangayon, Napolan, Pagadian City at about 8:30 o’clock in the morning of July 17, 2018.

Initial investigation conducted by Pagadian CPS disclosed that victim identified as one Junbert Colinares who sustained hacked wounds on his right head, lacerated wound on his neck and numerous stabbed wounds on the different parts of his body. Further, there were no pieces of evidence recovered from the crime scene.

The cadaver of the victim was then brought to Gamalinda Funeral Homes, Tuburan, Pagadian City for proper disposition.

Suspect is still to be identified. The investigator is PO1 Renji R Narciso with CP number 09128212873

WANTED PERSON CUFFED IN PAGADIAN

PAGADIAN CITY  (July 19, 2018) - Pagadian City Police Station Detective Team has arrested a wanted person at Purok Sweet love, Barangay Dumagoc, Pagadian Cityat about 10:30 PM of July 17, 2018.

Pagadian City Police identified the arrested wanted person as Bob Soler Tacloban Paller, 29 years old, male, live-in, Filipino and a resident of afore-mentioned place.

He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Violation Of Section 5 Of Republic Act 9165with criminal case number 11063-2k13 issued by Honorable Judge Dennis P Vicoy, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City dated November 7, 2013.

The above-arrested person was held in protective custody and booking procedures of Pagadian CPS.(By JONG CADION)

Wanted person arrested in Brgy Banale, pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY (July 19, 2018) - Pagadian City Police Detective Team arrested the wanted person during the conduct of service of warrant of arrest at Purok Malungay, Barangay Banale, Pagadian City at about 1:00pm of July 17, 2018.

Police identified the arrested wanted person as Roger Biarta Dela Cruz, 30 years old, male, live-in, Filipino and a resident of Purok Santan, Barangay Bulawan, Pagadian

He was arrested by the virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Acts Of Lasciviousness Under Article 336 Of Revised Penal Code In Relation To Republic Act 7610 with criminal case number 13947-2K18 issued by Honorable Judge Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City dated July 4, 2018.  

The above-arrested person was informed of his constitutional rights and held in protective custody and booking procedures of Pagadian City Police Station.

Woman was stone to death by her son

PAGADIAN CITY (Julky 14, 2018) – A woman wakilled by her own son  by smacking of big stone on her head, the incident transpired at Purok Malunggay, Banale, Pagadian City, at about 10:00 o’clock in the morning of July 13, 2018.

Investigator on Case P01 Renji R Narciso identified the victim as Gina Tinga y Daniel, 47 years old, female, married, a housewife and a resident of Purok Malungay, Banale, Pagadian City.

Suspect was allegedly the son of the victim identified as Almer Tinga y Daniel, 20 years old, male, single, jobless, Filipino, and a resident of same address, PO1 Narciso said.

Investigation of Pagadian City Police Station disclosed that at about 9:00 o’clock at the morning of July 13, 2018, the victim was washing her laundry at a river located more or less 100 meters away from the victim’s house, he said.

Moreover, at around 10:00 o’clock in the morning of same date the victim’s daughter, Wellen Jane Tinga y Daniel brought food to the victim and to her surprise that she saw her mother laid facedown and seemed lifeless. Thus, she hurriedly informed her father, Willy Claudio Tinga(husband of the victim) of what had happened to her mother, Investigator also said. 

Immediately, the husband hurriedly went to the location of his wife where she really saw the lifeless body and a blooded stone described as more or less 20 Kilos and at least 56 square inches. The husband then brought the lifeless body of the victim to their house, he added.

SOCO team of Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory Office was requested by IOC in the conduct of CSI and Field Laboratory Works. Pagadian City personnel is now conducting hot pursuit is now conducting hot pursuit operation against the suspect for the possible arrest and a circumstantial evidence was already gathered by the IOC for filing appropriate charges against the suspect, PO1 disclosed.

2 Suspects in Pagadian City Shooting Arrested

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (July 9, 2018) – The personnel of Pagadian City Police Station has arrested two suspects in the shooting incident that transpired at Purok Bakhaw B, Barangay Kawit, Pagadian City at about 6:40 PM of July 7, 2018, Police Official said.

Two victims were identified as Jessie Rey Tero Ontolan, 39 year old, male, married, jobless and Jessrel Calgas Ontolan, 12 years old, student, son of Jessie Rey, both residents of the aforementioned place.

Pagadian City Police Station OIC Chief Supt. Alvin Saguban identified the two arrested suspects as Bernardo Dionio Arroyo, 48 years old, male, married, ex-Barangay Kagawad of Barangay Bibilik, Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur and his companion identified as Soffio Retubado Namucatcat, 38 years old, male, married, garbage truck driver and a resident of Purok Bakhaw C, Brgy Kawit, Pagadian City.

Initial investigation disclosed that Bernardo (suspect) and Soffio was having a drinking spree in front of Razul Sari-sari Store located at Purok Bakhaw B, Brgy Kawit when the victim together with his son passed by and was invited by Soffio to drink a glass of beer which the victim accepted the offer, Supt. Saguban said.

COP Saguban added that without warning, the suspect Bernardo then stood up, pulled a gun from his waist and shoot Jessie Rey (victim) on his head and body which resulted to his death and also hit Jessrel (son of the victim) in his right hand. The suspects immediately fled towards the direction of Kawit Barangay Hall riding a white red Honda XRM.

Supt Saguban also said that the responding police operatives conducted a hot pursuit operation which resulted to the successful arrest of the suspects and the confiscation of their cellphone and revealed thru the cellphone inbox read as “Brod ayaw patya, unsay enfo dha?”

Both suspects were told of their rights by reading the Miranda Doctrine. Recovered from the crime scene were two fired cartridges for Cal .45.

Initial report on shooting incident

PAGADIAN CITY (July 9, 2018) – One killed in shooting incident transpired at Brgy. Kawit Pagadian City on or about 6:40 PM of July 07, 2018.

The victim identified as Jessie R Tero Ontolan, 39 years old, resident of Purok Bakhaw B, Kawit, Pagadian City was shot by unidentified suspect on board an unidentified motorcycle.

This station is now conducting investigation for possible identification and arrest of the perpetrator.

2 persons nabbed for Swindling/Estafa using fictitious name/Canceling True name

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (July 5, 2018) – The operatives of Pagadian City Police Station arrested two suspects for Swindling/Estafa using fictitious name/Cancelling true Name transpired at Pilgrim’s Hotel, Tuburan District, Pagadian City on July 4, 2018 at about 11:00am.

Police identified the arrested suspects as Alniel Orion Terez, 21 yo, male, with live-in partner Mariza Mislos Mintang, both resident of Poblacion Mahayag, Zamboanga Del Sur.

The victim identified as Bryan Calderon Canalita, 39 years old, married, businessman, Filipino, member of Facebook public group account and a resident of Sitio Aleth, Barangay Cabito-onan, Toledo City, Cebu.

Investigation conducted disclosed that the incident ensued when suspect posted in Facebook using a fictitious name identified as Alfie Cosares who allegedly selling a unit of Toyota Avanza color black in the amount of Php150, 000.00.

The victim out of his desire to buy the advertised unit, he was made to pay an advance payment of Php15, 000.00 on July 2, 2018 through MLhuiller Kwarta Padala and another Php30, 000.00 on July 3, 2018 through MLhuiller Kwarta Padala at a branch in Gaisano Capital, Pagadian City. When the victim and the suspects agreed for the consummation of their transaction at Cagayan de Oro City, the suspects then rejected all forms of contact and/or communication.

That prompted the victim to realize that he was a victim of a scam and then verified, the receiver of the money-sending (MLhuiller) identified as a certain Markly C Villarico, 25 yo, male, single, dicer of Monde Nissin Corp., and a resident of Camanga, Dumalinao, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Through the victim’s facebook account, the victim called the cooperation of Markly in order to see the suspect in person who used such a fictitious name with the aid of the Duty Investigator and detective personnel of Pagadian City Police Station, the suspects were arrested and now facing appropriate charges was filed in court.

Suspects are now temporary detained at Pagadian CPS Detention Cell for proper disposition.
