1 person wounded in Stabbing Incident

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 24, 2019) – One person was wounded in Stabbing incident transpired at Purok Abansiña, Upper Sibatang, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:50 PM of January 23, 2019.

The Victim was identified as Ramil Sinadjan Cuyagbo, 34 years old, male, live-in, jobless, and a resident of Purok Abansiña, Upper Sibatang, Pagadian City.

Suspect was identified as Lorenzo Cañete Morcilla, (arrested) 72 years old, male, married, jobless, and a resident of Purok Abansiña, Upper Sibatang, Pagadian City, he was arrested

Investigation disclosed that the victim who was under the influence of liquor shouting near the house of the suspect who was allegedly sleeping to quote “Kawatan ka ug kahoy tay!” unquote.

Thereat, the suspect went to the presence of the victim and they exchanged heated words and afterwards the suspect stabbed the victim on his abdomen once with the use of kitchen knife.

After that, the suspect and the victim ran towards different directions. The victim sustained lone stabbed wound on his abdomen.

The suspect who was voluntarily surrendered to the Punong Barangay of same place was then placed under custody.

Recovered from the possession and control of the suspect was one (1) kitchen knife with blood stain that more or less 9 inches long.

The victim was immediately brought to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City for his immediate medication, while the suspect was being turned over to the responding Police Officers and brought to Pagadian City Police Station for disposition.

2 Hurt in Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 18, 2019) - Shooting incident transpired at B Aquino Street, Barangay Santa Lucia, Pagadian City, at about 1:45 AM of January 18, 2019.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the victims as:

        Rowel Dela Peña Manriquez, 34 years old, male, married, LBC delivery boy, and a resident of Purok Mabini, Santo Niño, Pagadian City and

        Ronald Maurin Enriquez, 32 years old, male, single, Project Officer of Katipunan Bank, and a resident of Purok Magsaysay, Santo Niño, Pagadian City.

Suspects are two (2) unidentified male persons riding an undetermined single motorcycle heading towards Jamisola Extension, Santa Lucia, Pagadian City.

The Victims were identified as:

(a) Rowel sustained gunshot wounds on his buttocks, who was brought to Mendero Hospital, Pagadian City while

(b) Ronald sustained gunshot wounds on his right thigh who was brought to Aisah Hospital, Pagadian City both are now on stable condition.

Investigation disclosed that prior to the incident the victims are involved in an altercations with the lady entertainers of Aquarium KTV bar along F. Jamisola Street, Santa Lucia, Pagadian City.

Allegedly, Rowel took video to a lady entertainer without permission but was amicably settled. Thus, the two (2) went home on board their motorcycle when they were both shot from behind, by two unidentified persons riding in motorcycle.

Recovered pieces of evidence from the crime scene are two (2) fired cartridges for caliber .45 pistols.

Woman Held in Pagadian City for Deception

PAGADIAN CITY, (Jan. 13, 2019) - An alleged other forms of Deceit has transpired at about 11:30 PM of January 12, 2019 at Megayon, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City.

The victim was identified as Donnabel Joy Mejia y Ferolino, 40 years old, female, married, vice Mayor of Magsaysay, Davao del Sur and a resident of Magsaysay, Davao del Sur.

The suspect was identified as Alice Cabanlit y Simyunn, 56 years old, female, married and a resident of La Verte residence, Unit 904, South Tower, Sen Gil, Puyat Avenue, Pasay City, Manila.

Investigation disclosed that the suspect went to Megayon, Dao, Pagadian City and introduced herself as a representative of Mr. Christopher Lawrence Tesoro Go, (Bong Go for short) at the event of Philippine Eagles Club Convention being the Special Guest from Malacañang Palace who is also a Senatorial Candidate for the forthcoming mid-term election 2019.

Intel and detective personnel of Pagadian City Police Station deployed at the venue of the Philippine Eagles Club had a prior suspicion that the suspect was a fake representative of Mr. Bong Go as well the aide from the office of DND and office of BM Marlyn Revelo.

Certainly, an official representative of Mr Bong Go in the person of Donnabel Joy Mejia y Ferolino, 40 years old, female, married, vice Mayor of Magsaysay, Davao del Sur arrived at the venue and was inform by the Organizer that someone had already represented herself as the representative of Mr Bong Go that prompted her to monitor and verify the subject person.

That at around 11:30 o’clock in the evening of the same date, the victim went to where the suspect checked-in at Alindahaw Hotel, Rizal Avenue, San Francisco District, Pagadian City, with the responding police personnel as she confirmed that indeed someone misled in her behalf.

Suspect is now in protective custody at Pagadian City Police station while an appropriate charge in court has been prepared.

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY, (Jan. 14, 2019) - Shooting incident transpired at Purok 3, Manga, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, at about 11:10 AM of January 13, 2019.

The victim identified as Jhonreyl Mosqueda Manos, 16 years old, male, single, and a resident of Purok 3, Manga, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur, He was shot by the suspect Renante Gonzales Tagle, 35 years old, with live-in, driver, and a resident of Prk 4, Manga, Pagadian City.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that at around 11:00 o’clock in the morning of January 13, 2019 the victim with his brother and brother-in-law were harvesting corn at their cornfields at Prk 3, Manga, Pagadian City.

When the suspect with his two companions arrived and told the victim’s brother not to run. But instead, the latter run-away and suddenly the suspect drew his firearm and fired at him. However, it was the victim who was hit.

The victim sustained gunshot wound (GSW) in his chest, who managed to run towards Brgy Tulawas, Pagadian City and was helped by the Brgy officials of said barangay and was then brought to Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, Pagadian City for medical treatment.

Upon receipt of the report, detective personnel of Pagadian City PS immediately conducted hot pursuit operation and arrested the suspect with the firearms used in the commission of the offense.

Wanted Man Cuffed in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 11, 2019) - PNP Personnel of Pagadian CPS conducted police operation on wanted person at Bana Street, Purok Upper Lumbia, Barangay Lumbia, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 6:30 PM of January 10, 2019.

 The operation was resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as Guillermo Alvarez Mendez, Jr., 55 years old (February 18, 1963), male, married, Filipino and a resident of Purok Sampalok, Barangay Balangasan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur

He was arrested by virtue of Alias Warrant of Arrest for Frustrated Parricide with criminal case number 12168-2k15 issued on June 28, 2017 by Honorable Judge Dennis P Vicoy, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 20, Pagadian City.

The bail bond recommended fixed at Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php200,000.00).

2 Hurt in Shooting Incident, suspect arrested

PAGADIAN CITY.  Zamboanga Del Sur (Jan. 11, 2019) – Two person was wounded in Shooting incident that transpired at Barangay Hall Basketball Court, Purok Talon 1, Kahayagan, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 12:05 AM of January 11, 2019.

PCSUPT Emmanuel Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the two victims as Dennis Magsayo y Natividad (Barangay Kagawad), 35 years old, male, married, and Juvy Siaboc y Cañada, 40 years old, married, both resident of Purok Talong 1, Kahayagan, Pagadian City.

The two were shot by the suspect identified as Timoteo Sabate y Narsico (Barangay Kagawad), 59 years old, married and a resident of aforesaid place.

Investigation disclosed that on or about 12:05 A.M of January 11, 2019 a commotion ensued between Juvy Siaboc and Marjun Villaganas inside the ongoing disco party held at basketball court of Purok Talong 1, Kahayagan, Pagadian City.

Barangay Kagawad Magsayo pacified the two in which said Villaganas fell into the ground as a result Kagawad Sabate, who is the relative of Villaganas reacted to the incident, draw a pistol and shot the two victims several times.

Fortunately, only Dennis Magsayo sustained lone gunshot wound at the right leg.

The Victim was rushed by Juvy Siaboc at Cabahug Hospital, Pagadian City for immediate treatment.

PNP personnel of Pagadian CPS responded at the area of incident and recovered from the crime scene were 4 fired cartridges of alleged caliber 45 pistols.

The suspect was successfully arrested at the crime scene and brought to Pagadian CPS for proper disposition of the case and is now temporarily detained at Pagadian CPS Detention Cell.

The investigator is now preparing the inquest case against the suspect. Said incident was witnessed by Nelbert Getigan y Cabataña and Arnold MArchan y Narsico, both resident of the aforementioned place. The suspect refused to undergo paraffin examination.

Snatching Incident

PAGADAN CITY (Jan. 9, 2019) - Snatching incident transpired at Duterte Street, Purok Nido, Gatas District, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 9:00 PM of January 8, 2019.

Investigation conducted disclosed that the victim/complainant identified as Araline Abangan Y Acla, 32 years old, female, married, Filipino and a resident of Purok Nido, Gatas District, Pagadian City together with her daughter were walking along Duterte Street, Purok Nido, Gatas District, Pagadian City.

The unidentified male person later identified as Marlon Sayson Y Sumalinog, 39 years old, male, live-in, jobless, Filipino and a resident of Purok Santan B, San Jose District, Pagadian City appeared from behind and snatched the victims black wallet containing Three Thousand and Eighty Pesos (Php3,080.00) and the COMELEC ID of the victim and ran towards the downgrade direction of Duterte Street, Purok Nido, Gatas District, Pagadian City.

The victim immediately shouted for help from the bystander and successfully held the suspect. Thereafter, PNP personnel responding arrived and place the suspect under arrest and apprised of his right under Philippine Constitution and now under protective custody of Pagadian CPS for filing of an appropriate 

DENR Employee Arrested for the Crime of Trespass to Dwelling

PAGADIAN CITY (Jan. 9, 2019) - PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted manhunt operation at Gatas District, City Hall Complex, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur at about 10:00 AM of January 8, 2019.

The operation was resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as Leonilo Empleo Y Ceros, 61 years old (November 1, 1957), male, married, Government Employee (DENR), Filipino and a resident of B15 F, Lot 13, Southville 8B, San Isidro, Rodriguez, Rizal.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Honorable Judge Edgardo Noel B Cruz, Fourth Judicial Region, Municipal Trial Court, Rodriguez, Rizal, for the crime of qualified trespass to dwelling issued on August 20, 2018 with criminal case number 1808-331.

Bail boned recommended for his temporary liberty is fixed to Thirty Six Thousand pesos (Php36, 000.00).

The above-arrested person was held in protective custody and booking procedures of Pagadian City Police Station.
