On May 21, 2018 at about 6:00 PM, a
shooting incident transpired at Purok Sili, Barangay Kahayagan, Pagadian City
wherein victim identified as Joseph Diano Ramirez Sr. 46 y/o, married, Security
Guard of Gamalinda Funeral Homes Pagadian City, a resident of Purok Daraan,
Gubang, Pagadian City was shot by unidentified person.
Investigation conducted disclosed
that the victim together with his daughter was traversing the barangay road of
Kahayagan from Barangay Gubang on board his Single motorcycle Honda Wave 100
Black/Red plate number 8966JC. Upon reaching Purok Sili, Barangay Kahayagan he
was tailed by two unidentified persons on board on motorcycle Black Honda XRM
without plate number, suddenly the back-rider shot the victim several times.
Victim sustained gunshot wounds on
different part of his body and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center
by concerned citizens for medical treatment and luckily his daughter unharmed.
Suspects fled towards the direction
of Barangay Danlugan, Pagadian City, recovered from the crime scene two (2)
empty shells of cal. 45.
Pagadian CPS still conducting
follows up investigation to identify the suspects and to determine the motive
