2 LBC Workers Held-Up in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 23, 2018) - Robbery/hold-up incident transpired at Cabrera Street, Purok Liberty, Gatas District, Pagadian City at about 12:10pm of October 22, 2018.

The Victims were identified as Kevin Rey Ibańez y Daguinot, 26 years old, Filipino, and wife, Irish Magalso y Lanaha, 23 years old, Filipino, both work at LBC, Gatas District, Pagadian City and residents of Purok Kawayan, Balangasan, District, Pagadian City.

Initial investigation disclosed that while the victims were on board their single MC bound home, and stopped a while due to traffic congestion when two suspects wearing ball caps and dark sun glasses approached them and one of them pointed a short FA against the victim Kevin and declared “hold up” (“Tulis ni, Bay”) then took the MC key and an envelope from the wife containing application papers for SSS claims, SSS ID Card and Birth Certificates.

The suspects immediately fled towards the direction of Salera Street, Gatas District, Pagadian City. Case is under follow up. The investigator is PO2 Welito C Nuena with CP number 09107571250.

1 killed in Stabbing Incident

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 14, 2018) – One person was killed in Stabbing incident transpired at Vivian Kiap residence, Purok Madanihon, Bulatok, Pagadian City at about 8:45am of October 13, 2018.

The victim was identified as Jarmin Aplasin, employee of mister donut, 30 years old, male, Filipino, single and presently rented at Vivian Kiap residence of Purok Madanihon, Bulatok, Pagadian City.

The Suspect identified as Khomenie Rasuman of legal age, male, Filipino, married and a resident of Purok Madanihon, Bulatok, Pagadian City.

Investigation conducted disclosed that at about 8:40 AM of same date victim went outside of his rented house particularly at the front to take a bath.

When the suspect who already in position and blockaded the victim with a kitchen knife there and then stabbed the victim several times at different parts of the victim’s body that resulted to the instantaneous death of the victim. The duty physician of City Health Office arrived to examine the victim.

Victim sustained eight stabbed wounds at different parts of his body. Recovered from the crime scene are Thirteen inches kitchen knife including handle which was used by the suspect. Possible motive of the incident believes to be personal grudge.

1 person killed in Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 15, 2018) – One person was killed in Shooting incident transpired Beton’s sari-sari store, Purok 6, Barangay Manga, Pagadian City at about 11:00pm of October 14, 2018. 

PNP Personnel of Pagadian City conducted initial investigation revealed that the victim was identified as Alberto Binting y Patak, 41 years old, with live-in partner carpenter and a resident of Barangay Manga, Pagadian City. The victim sustains one gunshot wound at the forehead that resulted to his death.

Investigation is now conducted by Pagadian CPS for possible identification of the suspect and the motive of incident.

Top 6 Most Wanted Person was Killed in Law Enforcement Operation

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 4, 2018) – The Top most wanted person in Police Region 9 level was killed during the conduct of Law enforcement operation implemented by the Combined elements of Regional Intelligence Division 9, Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Intelligence Branch, 902nd Maneuvering Company of RMFB9 and Lapu-Lapu City Police Office at Barangay Bangkal, Lapu-Lapu City, approximately fronting Deca Homes Mactan 4, around 8:15pm of October 3, 2018, police regional official said.

Police Regional Office 9 PIO Chief PCINSP Helen L. Galvez disclosed that the operating team conducted joint service of warrant of arrest against Crisolito Unito @ "Sonny"

Galvez said the operation was resulted to the neutralization of the subject/fugitive - after the latter drawn out a concealed short firearm later initially described as a .45 caliber pistol.

Galvez added that the above-named Fugitive has three standing warrants of arrest described as follows:

Murder under Criminal Case # 2012-10-2489;

Robbery under Criminal Case # 2005-10-1530 and Robbery With Violence Against And Intimidation Against Persons under Criminal Case # 2011-10-2457, all issued by Hon. Judge Jaime B. Caberte, RTC Branch 23, Molave Municipality, Zamboanga del Sur.

Galvez also said that the neutralized fugitive is ranked Top 6, Most Wanted Person, Regional Level (PRO9) and is a member of the "Dragon Group" of Ozamis City Crime Syndicate under certain Manuel Francisco @ "Maning Lapad" - linked with the Parojinogs of Ozamis City;

Galvez explained that the suspect Crisolito Unito @ "Sonny", was along with remnants of the Parojinog Crime Group, is believed to have been responsible in high-profile robbery incidents in the country, he was also heavily engaged in gun-for-hire and narcotics trafficking.

The operating team was able to recovered from the possession of the neutralized subject at the crime scene was a .45 caliber pistol with magazine and ammunitions, Galvez said.

As this developed, PCSUPT Emmanuel Luis D Licup, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 9 commended the operating police units for a job well done.

City Ordinance Violator Held in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 6, 2018) – The PNP elements of Pagadian City Police Station arrested the wanted person during the conduct of Manhunt Charlie at Purok Bagong Silang, Balangasan District, Pagadian City at about 11:00am of October 4, 2018.

The police identified  the arrested accused as Jhebson Lariosa Oberez, 18 years old male, single, Filipino and a resident of PurokBagong Silang, Balangasan District, Pagadian City.

Thie accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Honorable Judge Joel G Vercide, Presiding Judge, Municipal Trial Court in Cities, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 01, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur for Violation of Section 4 City Ordinance No. 2017-378 issued on September 27, 2018 with criminal case number 17864 with bail recommended amounting to Php 3,000.00.

Arrested person was held in protective custody and booking procedures of Pagadian CPS. 

       

Hacking Incident

SAN PABLO, Zamboanga del Sur (Oct. 4, 2018) - Hacking incident transpired at about 9:00 PM of October 3, 2018 at Purok 1, Barangay Lumbayao, San Pablo, Zamboanga Del Sur.

Initial investigation conducted disclosed that the victim identified as Arnulfo Magpale y Malaque, 46 years old, married, farmer, a resident in the aforementioned place.

He was hacked by unidentified person at the back portion below his nape while walking at cultivated land area near on his house.

San Pablo MPS is now conducting follow-up investigation for the possible identification of the suspect as well as the motive of the incident. Investigator is PO3 Geovani P Castillo/09505587009.

Truck Loaded with Undocumented Lumber Held

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 5, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted checkpoint operation at highway of Barangay Bogo, Pagadian City at about 8:00pm of October 4, 2018. 

The operation was led to the apprehension of the suspects identified as

        Roger Garcia Pueblas, driver by profession, 42 years old, male, Filipino, live in and a resident of PurokMalinawon, Nazareth, Buenavista, Pagadian City and

BebenrosMainitPasok, owner of the coco lumber/timber, 53 years old, male, Filipino, married and a resident of PurokSaging 2, Datagan, Pagadian City.

The apprehension transpired when a team of Pagadian CPS personnel assigned at Brgy. Bogo COMPAC conducted checkpoint operation at Highway Bogo, Bogo, Pagadian City when One bongo Mazda drop side with detachable canopy color metallic brown, bearing Improvised Plate No. 120105 driven Roger Garcia Pueblas is stopped and verified.

The driver failed to show pertinent permits/documents surrounding the coco lumber he had transported.

Initial investigation disclosed that the aforementioned Bongo truck was loaded with Thirty pieces of coco lumber with a total of 572 board feet and estimated amount of Twelve Thousand Pesos (Php12, 000.00).

Thus, the aforementioned driver and the owner together with the confiscated Bongo Mazda truck were turned-over to the personnel of Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) for proper disposition and for filing of administrative or appropriate charge.

Murder Suspect Arrested in Law Enforcement Operation

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 7, 2018) – The Detective personnel of Pagadian City Police Station arrested the wanted person during the conduct of Manhunt Charlie at atPurokBougainvilla, San Pedro, Pagadian City at about 4:15pm of October 6, 2018.

The operating team identified the arrested wanted person as Charliemagne Uljer Salamero, 22 years old, male, single, Filipino and a resident of Purok Bougainvillea, San Pedro District, Pagadian City.

The accused was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest docketed under criminal case number 14001-2K18 for Violation Of Section 5 (A) In Relation To Section 6 (A) Of Republic Act 9262 and In Relation To Article 248 (Murder) of The Revised Penal Code.

The warrant of arrest was issued by Honorable Judge Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Acting Presiding Judge of 9th Regional Trial Court, Branch 22, Pagadian City, Zamboanga Del Sur dated September 21, 2018.

The above-arrested person was held in protective custody and booking procedures at Pagadian CPS. Investigator is PO3 Angelito F. Maban with CP # 09099623216.

2 Rape Suspects Cuffed

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 6, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station arrested two rape suspect during the conduct of manhunt operation at PurokKawayan, Balangasan District, Pagadian City at about 11:30pm of October 5, 2018.

The police identified the two arrested rape suspect as RandenOmongos Ortega, 18 years old, male, single, Filipino and a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Tulawas, Pagadian City and Jorge Marcelo Lariba, Jr., 17 years old, male, single, Filipino and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Tulawas, Pagadian City

The two accused was arrested by the virtue of the Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Statutory Rape as amended by Republic Act 8353 with criminal case number 14017-2K18,14018-2K18 and RAPE under Article 266-A paragraph 1 of the Revised Penal Code with criminal case number 14019-2K18.

The WOA were all issued on October 2, 2018 by Honorable Judge Analyn F. Ramas-Costanilla, Acting Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 22, Pagadian City with No bail recommended.

The arrested suspects were now under custody of Pagadian City Police Station for proper disposition. 

Male Cadaver Found

PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 3, 2018) - A dead body found at about 11:00 AM of October 3, 2018 at Purok Nangka, Tuburan, Pagadian City wherein the victim identified as Eduardo Martin Quilab, 53 years old, single, male, carpenter and a resident of said place.

Case Investigator PO3 Gay Marie B. Morga disclosed that on or about 1:30pm of October 3, 2018, one Elinita Lumanog Deocares, 51 years old, female, married, Purok Secretary and a resident of Purok Nangka, Tuburan, Pagadian City personally reported at Pagadian CPS that there was a dead body found at the place stated above.

Initial investigation disclosed that the neighboring houses from the crime scene smell foul odor coming from the house of the victim.

That the reporting person together with the concern neighbors took courage to check the house of the victim whether or not the foul odor was just a dead animal.

However, they found out that it was Eduardo already in the decomposition stage. Moreover, based on the investigation conducted thereat, there was no foul play found at the crime scene that may be cause of death.

Duty physician of the City Health, Pagadian City was already coordinated to conduct post mortem examination on the found dead body. The cadaver now laid at Fatima Funeral Homes, Lumbia District, Pagadian City.

PNP Anti-Illegal Drug Campaign

 PAGADIAN CITY (Octr. 1, 2018) - The operatives of Provincial Drugs Enforcement Units of Zamboanga Del Sur PPO conducted buy-bust operation at Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City at about 7:00PM of September 29, 2018.

The operation was resulted in the arrest of Manter Baratucal Dimaucom, married, 59 years old, seaweed trader by occupation, elementary level, and a resident of Purok Sunshine, Barangay Santiago, Pagadian City.

Confiscated from his possession were ten pieces heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and a Php500.00 pesos with serial number DU577656 used as buy-bust money. 

The arrested person is now under the custody of said police office for filing of appropriate charges in court. 

Shooting Incident

PAGADIAN CITY ( Oct. 1, 2018) - Shooting incident transpired at Purok Madanihon, Barangay Bulatok, Pagadian City at about 11:55 PM of September 29, 2018 particularly located at the corner on the exit part of Integrated Bus Terminal.

PNP elements of Pagadian CPS proceeded to the reported area to conduct investigation and immediately request the SOCO Team based at Camp Abelon, Brgy. Lumbia, Pagadian City to process the crime scene. 

Initial investigation disclosed that the victim identified as one Marlon Bacalso y Pacyao, 31 years old, male, married, tricycle driver, a resident of Purok Rizal, Barangay Sto. Niño, Pagadian City was shot to death by the unidentified motorcycle riding male suspects.

Accordingly, the victim while parked his tricycle on the above-mentioned place when a two suspects suddenly appeared riding Red XRM without cover and plate number and without any apparent reason shoot the victim several times hitting on the different parts of his body using caliber .45.

Based in the recovered five pieces fired cartridge cases and one deformed slug of the same caliber by the SOCO team who processed the crime scene.

The suspects immediately fled towards Rotonda, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City direction.

The victim was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center, Dao, Pagadian City but declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

The investigator of this station still conducting in-depth investigation regarding the incident and immediately disseminated the information to all neighboring station for possible apprehension of the perpetrators. 

Coordination with the victim’s families was still undergoing to determine the motive of the incident.
