PAGADIAN CITY (Oct. 5, 2018) – The PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station conducted checkpoint operation at highway of Barangay Bogo, Pagadian City at about 8:00pm of October 4, 2018.
The operation was led to the apprehension of the suspects identified as
Roger Garcia Pueblas, driver by profession, 42 years old, male, Filipino, live in and a resident of PurokMalinawon, Nazareth, Buenavista, Pagadian City and
BebenrosMainitPasok, owner of the coco lumber/timber, 53 years old, male, Filipino, married and a resident of PurokSaging 2, Datagan, Pagadian City.
The apprehension transpired when a team of Pagadian CPS personnel assigned at Brgy. Bogo COMPAC conducted checkpoint operation at Highway Bogo, Bogo, Pagadian City when One bongo Mazda drop side with detachable canopy color metallic brown, bearing Improvised Plate No. 120105 driven Roger Garcia Pueblas is stopped and verified.
The driver failed to show pertinent permits/documents surrounding the coco lumber he had transported.
Initial investigation disclosed that the aforementioned Bongo truck was loaded with Thirty pieces of coco lumber with a total of 572 board feet and estimated amount of Twelve Thousand Pesos (Php12, 000.00).
Thus, the aforementioned driver and the owner together with the confiscated Bongo Mazda truck were turned-over to the personnel of Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) for proper disposition and for filing of administrative or appropriate charge.
