PAGADIAN
CITY (Feb. 13, 2019) - An apprehension
in violation of R.A. 10591 and COMELEC Gun Ban Incident transpired at about
11:15 PM of February 12, 2019 along Rizal Avenue, beside PS Bank, Gatas
District, Pagadian City.
Pagadian City Police Station received
information that there was an alleged suspicious male person bringing firearms
in the vicinity of Paclibar Boarding House as described by female boarders who
feared of their safety.
Suspect was identified as Abdullah
Yassen y Asaraji, 32 years old, male, Filipino, single, an alleged member of
MNLF and a resident of Purok Avocado, Tuburan District, Pagadian City.
Initial investigation disclosed that
the suspect was roaming around the vicinity of the Paclibar boarding house who
was figured looking for his girlfriend by shouting to some boarders inside the
house while brandishing a handgun.
The Intelligence operatives of Pagadian
CPS rushed to the aforementioned place that upon arrival, they saw the reported
suspect standing on an alley, besides PS Bank building, along Rizal Ave.
leading to the Paclibar boarding house.
The team frisked the suspect and
conducted search, checked his black sling bag and recovered One (1) unit
Caliber 9mm pistol loaded with one (1) magazine containing seven (7) live
ammunitions and four (4) live ammunitions without pertinent documents.
The suspect violated R.A. 10591 and
COMELEC Gun Ban who was placed on arrest and now under custody of Pagadian CPS
for proper disposition.
